What determines the wait
Demand in your area, the services you list, the facilities you can clean, and the way the marketplace distributes requests can affect when you hear from a prospect. Test with a limited budget and record the time from setting up a listing to receiving a qualified inquiry.
Check whether the lead fits
Ask about facility type, square footage, location, cleaning schedule, decision maker, and whether the need is recurring. A residential or one time request may arrive quickly but do little to help a company seeking monthly commercial contracts.
Respond and quote promptly
Make sure somebody can review new requests and follow up. Set up a walkthrough when the site needs one, then send a clear proposal. Measure the time to first response, walkthroughs, proposals, and signed agreements.
Compare the full cost
Calculate what you paid for leads and how many became profitable recurring contracts. Your website, referrals, direct outreach, and local search can provide other opportunities. Compare each source by signed work, rather than assuming a fast inquiry is the best result.
